What’s allowed when asking for reviews

Honest reviews are what make NaijaTrust worth trusting. These rules protect you and your customers.

1. Do: ask every customer

   Ask all your customers the same way, whether you think they were happy or not. A mix of reviews looks real, and customers trust it more.

2. Don’t: pay for reviews

   Don’t offer money, discounts, airtime or gifts in exchange for a review, and don’t ask only for 5 stars.

3. Don’t: review yourself

   Owners, staff, family and friends who aren’t real customers must not review the business. Our systems look for this.

4. What happens if rules are broken

   We remove reviews that break the rules, and repeated problems can lead to the business account being suspended.
