Let buyers check you before they pay

Many Nigerians are afraid of paying the wrong person online. List your official channels so buyers can confirm it’s really you.

1. Open your dashboard

   Find the “Check before you pay” card and tap “Add my details”.

2. Add your Instagram and WhatsApp

   Enter the Instagram handle and WhatsApp number customers buy from. Each one can belong to only one business, so nobody else can claim yours.

3. Add the accounts customers pay into

   Add up to 3 bank accounts. Type the account name exactly as your bank shows it. Your page shows the bank, account name and only the last 4 digits.

4. Tell customers to check you

   When a new customer asks “Is this real?”, send them to naijatrust.ng/check. If they search your handle, number or account, they’ll see your page and reviews.

Good to know

• Use a business account whose name matches your business name. It is one of the strongest trust signals for buyers.
• Changed your number or account? Update it here straight away so buyers don’t get a “not found” result.
